Google uses Antigravity to identify an antimicrobial peptide candidate

Orbis News

Google describes an Antigravity workflow that found a novel peptide candidate with predicted activity against respiratory pathogens. IT Home also reports the work; wet-lab validation is ongoing, so the predicted effect is not yet experimentally confirmed.

  • The workflow uses ProtNLM to predict biological function from amino acid sequences and scan millions of uncharacterized proteins in UniProt. [1] [2]
